Komatsu C93

The C93 is a “carry style” head, where the stem is carried by the feed wheels and the delimbing knives are mainly used for delimbing the stem. The feed system is designed with three driven feed wheels, one of which is a belly roller, making it productive yet gentle.

Constant Cut, our intelligent saw motor control, ensures that the head has a constant and efficient saw motor speed throughout the complete cutting cycle. This, in turn, ensures efficient cutting and limits problems with cutting cracks.

There are several options that help boost productivity for the C93. The multi-tree equipment enables you to harvest several trees at a time, making the head more flexible and contributing to increased productivity.

Another option is the Find End function that allows you to reset the length measurement without needing to make a new cut first, reducing harvesting residue and minimising value losses.

Combining these options with the color-marking feature turns the C93 into a versatile and multifunctional tool for the forest.

Servicing the head is made safe and easy with centralised lubrication points. This means that all service points, including colour marking and chain grease/lubrication, can be reached without repositioning the head from the service position.

The chain has an auto-release function to minimise unplanned downtime when changing chains. The auto-release function also means that you don’t need any tools to change the chain.
